Amedia, the Norway’s second largest media company, has issued a public statement that it was hit by a cyber attack that crippled its printing infrastructure affecting its newspaper editions on temporary basis.
Therefore, the digital disruption resulted in preventing AD companies from subscribing to publishing column spaces and subscribers from renewing or cancelling their monthly or yearly subscription.
Pal Nederogotten, the VP of Technology, Amedia stated the incident crippled the company’s operation to a certain extent and the attack consequences might be visible for the next few days.
